I am a New York State Licensed and Nationally Certified Psychoanalyst. I trained at the Training Institute of the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis in New York City.

Memberships: Psychoanalytic Referral Service of the Theodor Reik Clinical Center for Psychotherapy; The National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis (Board of Trustees; current Dean of Training); the National Association for the Advancement of Psychoanalysis; and Identity House. I was formerly on staff at the Washington Square Institute for Psychotherapy and Mental Health.

My pre-clinical experience is rooted in the arts: study at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and the Lee Strasberg Institute; BA from NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study; ten years as gallery coordinator at NYU's teaching fine art galleries; and an  MFA in creative writing from Brooklyn College.

I was also Program Director at the Peter F. Drucker Foundation for Nonprofit Management. The mission of the organization was to encourage and teach nonprofit leaders to see themselves as "life size," -- a concept and goal that I find fits well with the work and process of psychotherapy.
