Although I work with people from many backgrounds and cultures, I have a specialized interest in working with LGBTQ individuals and couples. I approach the work from a "gay affirmative" model, one which says that sexuality -- and gender -- exist on continuums.

My aim is to provide an environment that is safe and comfortable for exploring all aspects of one's experience and psyche, and help make connections between how one informs the other. This process of exploration also holds true for those coming to me with issues around gender, bisexuality, and for individuals who might be questioning.  In my practice I frequently help individuals and couples struggling with a wide variety of issues, including: relationships, HIV/AIDS, addiction, coming out, aging, work issues,  and homophobia -- internalized or otherwise.
